I figured all of these negative comments had to be wrong because of the hospital reputation. I was wrong to believe that. He has absolutely no bedside manner and told me I have nothing wrong with me. I was referred to this hospital after I had to move out of state from my old doctor. I had a serious tumor resection and have had two back surgeries. He told me nothing is wrong with me and I pretty much had to live with it. After I told him I don't think so and other doctors disagreed, he said he would refer me to a neurologist... read more
Unbelievably knowledgeable. I am so happy I chose him to be my doctor. Does personality mean everything? He's a genius.
I agree that this man is rude and unproffesional. I went to see him for severe pain I have been having. He minimized my pain and even told me that if he had an MRI of his back, it would look the same as mine. I have 3 herniations, with 2 of them pushing on the spinal cord. I am not impressed with his bedside manner, or his knowledge of how to treat.
this doctor gives the u of i hospital a bad name . i dont know why the hospital would ever put up with his , i hate my job attitude . do a dr rating on mr patrick hitchon . he was very rude , arrogant and insulting .i could mention some of the things he said to my wife and i but you probably would not believe it . hopefully u of i will investigate this man , anyone who is suppose to be a professional should under no circumstances be allowed to treat his patients the way he does , his actions made us think he is mentally unst... read more
guy is an idiot. told me i was fine. found another dr. told me i had an exploded disk in my neck. i had c-5 and c-6 fused.
This doctor was very rude. He had a predetermined diagnosis. I told him I was to have a test Neuological stimulator installed the following week (recommended by my pain specialist. He replied that if God intended us to have wires hanging out of our back He(GOD) would have put them there. He told me to go home and get a job or find a hobby. Get off the pain medication and to call him after three months if the pain got excrutiating. I had waited two months for this appointment.
