Worst psychiatrist ever. Allows his staff to speak to patients like trash and then excuses their behavior. Asked me not to call them names when I simply described their actions with the words RUDE and IGNORANT. Put me on a medication with a host of side effects after 1 visit. Changed my in person visit to a virtual one because his staff felt I was too “activated.” Don’t let that MD/PhD fool you. He and the staff at Memorial Psychiatry are dangerous.
Dr. Thomas has been my psychiatrist for over 3 years now and I highly recommend him to anyone suffering from mental health problems. He’s very knowledgeable, kind, and thorough. Every time i’ve asked about my meds or potentially changing meds he always gives me options and the pros and cons of each one. He lets me feel in control of my recovery and journey through giving me options rather than just telling me what med to take. He has always listened and is a huge contributor to why I’m stable today. Dr. Patrick Thomas is wonderful. He is one of the best psychiatrists I have seen ever since I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression. He listened to everything in detail during our first visit and knows everything. He asks you what you're comfortable with and what you aren't. I have been in his care for 2 years now and do not plan on ever transferring doctors until he retires! Even now when my health is in shambles, he knows medications.
