Dr Patrick Michalka saved me. Although his main area of specialty is hand surgery this incredible surgeon decided that he would try and in doing so saved my leg from possible amputation on multiple occasions. I don’t know how I can ever thank him enough. I’m a landscape gardener now & climb trees .. with both legs.
I fell of my bike cycling @ Rottnest last week @ gashed my leg. I’m a male of 80 years. A man came running to help me. He told me his name was Patrick & a Doctor. He went & fetched his medical kit & with the help of another passer by stemmed the bleeding & applied dressing & pressure bandage. The Dr was so caring I couldn’t believe my luck when the other passer by said she was a nurse. Patrick helped me get back to my accommodation & made sure I was feeling OK. I later found out his surname. What a beautiful man he is.
I never got a chance to thank him for doing an excellent job on my humerus last August. My healing time was good and the scar is brilliant.
Dr Patrick Michalka is a great surgeon and a good man. Glad I chose him to do my hand surgery.
