Doctor Vaughn has been our family doctor for 25 years. He is extremely caring and knowledgeable. He has called to check up after surgeries. When we needed appointment for a current illness we did not have to wait. I disagree with the rating of 1 that someone posted. If you have been in his practice for years you know that he has been a doctor for years and is planning to retire, thus he does not take on new patients and deals with current ones. Very pleased, gives clear advice, listens carefully. Follows up on advice given. Office runs well, pleasant staff.
My husband and I love Dr.Vaughan. He is business like but will stop to talk if you have questions. Always returns calls in a prompt manner, never fluffs us off. We are over 55, not kids that do not have medical problems or need meds. He is willing to give referrals as needed,doesn't try and tough it out himself if he doesnt' know the answers. We highly recommend him .
Dr Vaughan is a very straight forward but personable doctor. I believe that he applies common sense in his treatment by being somewhat conservative on jumping to surgery or medication. He has given both my husband and I good references to specialists. His office is run well, and operates efficiently.
Doesn't want to take on any patients who might need to actually see a doctor for some reason. Takes on only patients who just want a doctor for a yearly visit. That's about it.
