After an internal and external exam and ultrasounds....he told me I had uterine fibroids.. a couple months later I was in kidney failure with my kidneys only functioning at a 3%...my "fibroids" were actually a cancerous tumor the size of a grapefruit. I had stage 3b cervical cancer and from what my drs in Kettering said, you couldn't miss it. I would NEVER go back to Dr Karr or send anyone to him for anything!
Every visit seemed about business. Never any emotional connection. He convinced me to do genetic testing. We were told it would be $150 to $175 out of pocket after insurance. Our bill is currently almost $800 out of pocket after insurance. We told him about our inflated bill during our last visit and he just brushed it off without concern and then wanted to do genetic testing on my husband.
