Dr James is great, but her staff isn’t. I would stop going there if I could, because of her receptionist staff. Horrible phone etiquette, very rude on the phone. Did not help me one bit. Dr James needs to hire efficient, caring staff.
Some times the wait is longer than one might expect, BUT Dr James is an out standing doctor, who gives the absolute best for her patients. I would not even consider going to another doctor.
NP Kelly and Dr James are both GREAT! BUT … their staff - in particular the office manager Michelle - is inept, rude, condescending and makes any communication or processing needs one might have turn into a very distasteful battle. Dealing with health issues is hard enough, one should not have to deal with the nasty attitude from office workers on top of that. It’s unfortunate that the office manager has created such a poor reflection of the potentially excellent work this office could be doing.
My husband is a stage 4 colorectal survivor and I suffer from Polymyalgia Rhuematica. Dr James and her Nurse Practitioner, Kelly are managing our conditions with excellent treatments, monitoring and education on how to improve our conditions. They review each and every lab, scan and test, then they throughly explain each and what it means for our health and treatment plans.
Best doctor, NP & PA and staff I have ever been too! As long as I am in SoCal I refuse to go to any other doctor. Staff is incredibly helpful and return calls promptly. Highly experienced and knowledgeable doctors. Highly recommend!
