I was very comfortable with Dr. Kao when she was explaining the procedure that she was going to. She was very polite and before I knew it it was over with. then when she came to my room afterwards she once again was very polite and she explained what she had found and what she did about it. A very nice dr. Than you.
I only met Dr. Kai for about a total of 2 minutes while I was conscious, but in that time she was great! Felt like my scan went well, and the news was good. So I would recommend her as your physician if the option is available. Thank You,
Dr. Kao did my endoscopy surgery in 2020. I saw her today and unfortunately gave her a 5 star rating instead of the 2. Can't find the other review to change it. She appeared extremely rushed, never asked me about what symptoms I was experiencing and when, she just went off my PCP's notes.. I will be calling tomorrow to see if I can possibly switch Doctor's unless I can get back in to see Dr. Kao to go over what I have been experiencing at no charge this time.
I found Dr. Kao, as well as her assistants, to be professional, thorough, and humanely compassionate, absolutely devoid of condescension or of treating the experience as dehumanizingly routine. In other words, treating me respectfully, as a human being. I was equally grateful that they weren't cloyingly familiar, as some are who deal with elderly patients.
