Dr. Cavender met me with condescension and skepticism. Her age shows. A complete waste of time; I can only hope she doesn’t treat all her patients this way.
Dr. Cavender is knowledgeable, clear and authentic. She has taken care of multiple skin cancers for me, and has referred me when it was indicated. I highly recommend her!
Referred to Dr. Cavender for a routine skin check by my PC who sees her himself. Very easy to make an appointment. Found the front staff to be pleasant and helpful. There was a bit of a wait once I was in the exam room but both the nurse and Dr. Cavender were very apologetic. Exam was quick with the doctor explaining as she went along. Found the doctor to be knowledgeable and kind. She personally brought me a bunch of samples to take home. Highly recommend.
If I can Dr. Cavender 0 stars, I would. I went to see Dr. Cavender to check if I had any concerning spots on my face and for a skin tag on my cheek. She told me she can remove the skin tag off my face which I proceeded to ask if this would cost me and she said NO since it was mask-related. My skin tag was so minor (see pic) I would not have proceeded to have it removed if it was going to cost me. 3 months later, I get a bill for $200+ for the procedure which she told me she would not charge me for.
