My concerns were mostly dismissed as he’s the professional and I’m just a parent. Completely unhappy with diagnosis and treatment.
Completely disinterested in anything after hearing I was a single mother with complex mental health conditions. Dismissed everything I said, provided no suggestions whatsoever and then told me 'getting upset in front of your children is negative' When I pointed out this contradicts the principle of cognitive behaviour therapy and psychological science, he ended my appointment. $350 for a 1950s attitude and education
Dr Pat Ryan was pedestrian for my 3 children,who are all adults now. My twins are now 30 and my youngest is 28 and all doing well now. My youngest daughter was born at 28 weeks and struggled with her health from that moment on. She had dozens of hospital stays due to getting constant bouts of anumonia.
