I’m so happy that I found Dr. Goel!! She listens to me and very respectfully (and thoroughly) answers my questions. The procedures I’ve had done by her have been successful. This is a doctor who cares and is very talented in her field. Barrows and all of her patients are so fortunate to have her on their care team!
My experience with Dr. Goel has been a mix of good and bad. I feel confident she knows how to treat pain, but she doesn't voluntarily communicate my treatment plan. It's hard to know what questions to ask when the treatment plan is not communicated very well. Typically I get a card with the next procedure to be performed without any discussion of what she hopes to achieve or an indication of the how the procedure might alleviate my back pain. This is my second time going to Dr Goel, she is wonderful, patient, as well as NP Baker. Therapy is going well for me there now, and I am learning to trust the process.

I was referred to Barrow Brain & Spine Pain Management Dr. Parul Goel by my PCP and was refused treatment simply because of ongoing auto accident litigation. Why is it my fault that I got hit by a truck? Why should this have any bearing at all in treating people who come to them for help? Would you want someone to refuse treatment to you or a family member because they were injured in a automobile accident? This is out right discrimination that needs to be called out! Dr. Goel and her staff are all outstanding care givers. She is very patient when asked questions and always explains procedures very thoroughly. Her staff are also excellent for all communications I have had with them.
Dr. Goel is amazing! She has this amazing way of making you feel at ease and she's wonderful at what she does! I wouldn't go to anyone else.... ever!
