Dr Paras is knowledgeable, compassionate, and direct. She helps me more than anyone I've worked with. I highly recommend.
I sit here and think "who would recommend their psychiatrist" to someone??? I am a stable, Mom of 3, wife to a busy popular Doctor husband who lost my mom suddenly. I was a practicing RN. When my Mom died... I had a 2, 4, and 7 year old. My life was a story book fantasy. Until the magic carpet was ripped from under me. I will never go back to where I was before dr. Paras helped me. I don't even know how I found her. I wish I could recommend her to everyone. But I selfishly want her for myself
Dr. Paras is a very knowledgeable doctor who cares deeply for her patients well being. She stays current on the latest research in her field. She combines talk therapy with medication and is very conservative in her approach.
Dr. Paras saved my adolescent with careful evaluation, and interventions, patience and superior psychotherapy treatment. My daughter is now a successful college student, thriving, social and no longer depressed. Dr. Paras prescribes medications very carefully, and in low doses. She was a godsend to our family!

Dr. Paras is 'old school'. She really spends time with patients. More importantly, she is thoughtful in assessing need for medication works with patient to prescribe. I like a more conservative approach because so many medications have side effects. She is patient and patient-centered, something I believe all doctors should have specific training in! With the medications I have been prescribed, Dr. Paras uses abundance caution in dosage (both increasing and decreasing meds)!
