Before getting two crowns I was given the total cost including a breakdown of my portion and my insurance portion. I was also told payment due prior to service completion. I paid in full as agreed. After my crowns were finished and paid, I received a surprise bill requesting an additional $180. When I inquired, I was told maybe my insurance made changes to what they would pay and while dentist was working my teeth he discovered that he had to more work on my teeth then he expected.
