The one thing that stood out to me about my visit with Dr. Familua is that he REALLY listened to me about my concerns, due to my family history of breast cancer! I was referred to him by my Gynecologist after a cyst was detected during a breast ultrasound in May, 2023. The cyst appeared to be benign and the recommendation was to have it checked again in 6 months. but with all the breast cancer in my family, my husband, family, and I really did not want to wait...but to go ahead and have it removed. He helped save my moms life and I am forever thankful that we landed at Las Palmas and were blessed with the best surgeon and man of God! He made sure not to rush into surgery with her and ensured she was 100% stable before performing surgery. Any other dr would have rushed in and she would have lost her life!
