I can only speak of my experience with Dr. Janee Brown. I've been a type 1 diabetic for over 35 years. I've had a lot of different doctors and endocrinologist in that time, primarily those part of Kaiser Permanente. With the exception of one endo in Gardena at Kaiser, Dr. Brown is by far the most knowledgeable and professional doctor I've ever had the pleasure of being seen and treated by. Everyone seems to complain about the care here. Telehealth apt are an option and I would take one over an in office visit if possible. I could only imagine the amount of patients she has and how over worked she feels, I’ll bet years of being committed to lower tier medical patients wears on her as well. People need to have a little understanding. DO NOT GO. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT YOU OR YOUR CONDITION. All they care about is setting up telehealth visits to bill the insurance. They will have old, outdated and incorrect information for your referrals. Your referrals will not be submitted correctly. You will wait and suffer. They should not even be allowed to practice, especially when the lead doctor tells your insurance that they do not care about you and will not help you based off their case load - no matter the urgency. If they had a 0, I'd rate them it! Stay FAR, FAR AWAY from this place! Right when you walk in the door, it smells like mold in the office in the Lawndale office, where I was in search of a new local primary care physician that was located close to my house that also provided telehealth appointments! Everyone is so incompetent in this place and they go through their nurse practitioners every couple of weeks or so. I wouldn't recommend this clinic to anyone searching for a primary care. They provided a poor service and didn't do their due diligence to help my mom get the necessary treatments which I stressed about from the very beginning. My mom needed a MRI scan done and we were turned back from the MRI location twice. The first time is when this primary care office made a huge error on the insurance approval letter and the second was when they didn't advise or provide us a doctor's note and necessary documentations to help get the sc... read more
