Dr. O is empathetic and focused on helping patients to become mentally healthy. Many psychiatrists prescribe meds and briefly talk TO their patients. Dr. O talks WITH his patients and ascertains their needs. He encourages them to work toward mental health. He cares about his patients on a personal level. I highly recommend him to anyone with mental health concerns.
My quality of life has been significantly made better by Dr. O. When I first came to Dr. O, I was severely depressed and suicidal. Now, I'm much happier because of regularly seeing him.
I credit the quality of life that I live today to Dr. Osuntokun. I initially left a voicemail asking for a consultation. Dr. O called me back personally at about 7:30 or 8 at night and scheduled an appointment for me the very next day. He is very personable and gets a lot of background information about you to assess you upon each visit. He introduces medication on a gradient level so that you are not getting an influx of new meds without being able to pinpoint an issue or side effect.
