Are you still open? I’ve been calling for 3 weeks trying to make an appointment during your business hours but no one ever picks up the phone or returns my call. Each year I have to go through this for my mom’s annual check up because your calendar doesn’t go to one year after and I can only book half a year earlier. This process is a complete waste of time ! Just buy a better booking app that allows you to go one year!
Dr. Hwang is a great Dr, deserves 5 stars, but I will take away the stars because one of the assistants. I went with my dad for the appointment, since he does not speak English. But the assistant even didn't let me in, so my dad ended up with invalid imagine because of the unclear instructions. Now he has to wait another 6 months for the same procedure. Horrible receptionist - my mom had cataract and laser eye surgeries with Dr Norman Hwang. 3 months after the last surgery, her left eye is seeing a big dark patch. I called to make an appointment with the doctor. The receptionist refused to listen and insisted we have to wait for the check up session scheduled in 5 months. She was unhelpful and just told my mom to go to emergency if we think it is an emergency.
My father was referred to Dr. Norman Hwang for cataract surgery, but unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. Dr. Hwang scheduled multiple short appointments across different days, which was very inconvenient—especially for a senior patient (my dad is almost 80). At one point, my dad had to come in three days in a row just for quick measurements that could have been done in one visit. Terrible customer service. Reception never picks up the phone. They dont follow up on referrals. A small process takes months and sometimes don’t even hear back. Appointments are scheduled but you still need to wait for 2 hours to see the doctor who only has 10minutes to attend a patient.
