Never, he is rude! I have never been called by a Dr to schedule an appointment before him. Made an appointment because I thought maybe I was being a little to judgmental. But when he called me back and told me he was letting his assistant leave early I felt weird because I was going in for a complete body screening. This guy should not be practicing medicine. He cut out a mole from a sensitive area and left permanent scarring. No warning and no discussion of this prior to the procedure. He’s an embarrassment to the field of dermatology and has absolutely no empathy. He is one of the worst physicians I have ever seen in my life.
Dr Chiu has always treated me well. He's the only dermatologist of five, men and women, who diagnosed, treated and cleared my severe rosacea. I've recommended several people, including my grandson. During this pandemic Dr. Chiu continued seeing patients, utilizing all the protocols to keep patients safe and still receive treatment. I live 90 miles away but still return because I receive excellent care here.
I have tried repeatedly to make an appointment with Dr Chiu, to no avail. The office staff do not answer the telephone, sending messages to a machine. The calls are not returned. Email requests for an appointment are not answered. Apparently, dealing with patients distracts from the core mission of this medical practice. Such a disappointment, because, on paper at least, Dr. Chiu's qualifications are first rate.
I do not recommend this doctor he really rushes you doesn't explain you anything and doesn't treat you like he cares for you. And they're just out there to get your money they don't even
