Horrible Doctor. My mother and I went to see this provider and I have no good things to say. My mother suffers from pain in her feet and she requested a referral to see a specialist and practically had to beg this provider for a referral as the Doctor was hostile and didn’t want to give it to her. Very rude, dismissive, did not want to hear what I came it to discuss, focused on last visit, mentioned numerous times that she has a time limit for patients, I can only discuss 3 things once I mentioned that I cam it for a few things. I wish I could give this DR ZERO stars. My mom is a liver transplant patient. She’s been out sick for 3 days and finally went to see this DR on the 3rd day because it is much easier than scheduling an appointment with her specialized doctors. I’m on the phone with my mom and you should have heard how she was talking to my mom and refused to give her a dr’s note. I am so disappointed especially from another person of color and a foreigner. Overall is the big picture, this was my doctor for over 20 yrs. Dr.Okigbo is a thorough doctor. I agreed with her practice technique eventhough she's not holistic [she's western]. She is a part of the "MedStar Teaching" team members. That's commendable, However; the staff is very unprofessional. You will feel a certain kinda way when you visit this practice. Now 20+ yrs later I'm searching for a NEW-PCP! I'm Done and I'm confident I won't even be missed.
