He was the orthopedic surgeon on call at Antelope Valley Hospital and I did not have a choice of Surgeons to perform the setting of my femur fracture. He did not follow up with me at all while I was hospitalized. He is old and he should not be practicing surgery any longer. He is rude and difficult to relate to in a clinic setting. His Clinic has a waiting room that is cramped and small and you cannot even get to wheelchairs in the waiting room. Not a good experience at all, he didn't examine me nor barely looked at my MRI'S. He said there's nothing he can do, the only option he gave was to see pain management. He gave no explanation of my MRI'S or explanations of my pain. He was very nonchalant and not caring at all. Gave me a smirk like, 'okay bye, don't know what else to tell you'. Dr Shah performed surgery on my husband's broken ankle. The padding inside the cast was too thin and the cast was cutting into my husband's skin causing it to bleed. When it came time to take the stables out, there were some still left in there that were taken out at the post care facility. The male M.A. at Dr Shah's office lacked personality. While he may be good at performing orthopedic surgery his bedside manner is lacking. He is rude and difficult to relate to in a clinic setting. He sent me three blocks in a wheelchair to get an x-ray because his X-ray table does not lower and raise. If you have an orthopedic condition that you cannot stand on a step stool, you can't get an x-ray at his office. His office staff is not pleasant. I would not recommend this doctor to anyone!
