I unfortunately had a negative experience with Dr Agar. I often experienced high wait times (30 mins - 1 hour) for appointments booked at a specific time. At appointments, I often felt rushed and like I'd leave without all my questions answered or all the information I needed. She seemed more interested in moving me out instead of making sure we'd covered all everything. A bit alarming about the attitude towards patients.
I should have listened to the one star reviews and gone somewhere else - the least thorough, yet the most expensive skin exam I have ever had. Definitely will not be back. And as a follow up, I then visited another dermatologist on an unrelated issue. During the visit this new person (different clinic) was surprised that I only just had a skin check as so many sun spots were missed. Thank you Dr Agar for your professionalism and expertise. I was referred for one suspicious mole but Dr Agar performed a detailed and thorough whole body skin check. She clearly outlined my options and even though I'm very anxious about medical procedures, when I went in for the procedure she was very reassuring and the whole thing was over before I knew it.
If you’re psoriasis is not severe! Don’t even bother booking your appointment to any Dermatologist especially this one! It’s just a waste of your $300. Just visit any public hospital Dermatology. You will be treated exactly the same and it’s less cost. Just get a referral from your GP and see a Public Hospital Dermatologist. It’s simple and less hustle. And it’s worth the wait
