Amazing, compassionate and the most caring doctor I have ever been to! Highly recommend her!
I just want the world to know Dr Nina Paonessa is hands down the best surgeon in the world! She has gone above and beyond her duties as a Doctor/Surgeon time and time again. She is the reason I am still alive, she has helped me recovery physically, mentally and deal with the stress of medical bills 2 years after my surgery from place that don't even pertain to her practice. She is the most wonderful woman on the planet and I wish she could be my regular Doctor and not just my surgeon.
I have never been to a doctor who has spent more time with me or one who has cared more about my welfare. She has never made me feel as though my concerns were unimportant and I have never felt as though I was being rushed. Phone calls are returned almost immediately (which is amazing). Her patients are treated with respect and her staff follows this philosophy. I think many doctors could learn about doctor/patient interaction from Dr. Paonessa.
In the brief time period that I've seen her, she analyzed, treated and relieved symptoms I've had for years. Not to mention, her staff offers compassionate and specialized care. Dr. Paonessa is quite possibly one of the most, if not the most, highly personable professionals I've met (and I've gone to numerous specialists from the time that I was a young child due to a chronic illness). Dr. Paonessa exudes charisma that is truly an extension of her dedication and passion in her line of work.
Dr. Paonessa saw me hours after I called her office. Took care of my issues and her and her staff couldn't have been more patient and accommodating. Two thumbs up!
Not enough good things can be said about Dr. Paonessa and her staff. Her staff was more than accommodating and very courteous. Due to the sensitive nature of my symptoms, I could not have been more pleasantly surprised by this amazingly professional doctor, who is gifted with the ability to sooth, calm and educate, all while displaying genuine compassion and respect. She is a true gem who actually makes me want to schedule a colonoscopy.
I was extremely embarrassed and scared to go to this type of physician before I saw Dr. Paonessa for my condition after being misdiagnosed by two other doctors. She, as well as her staff was extremely compassionate, professional and caring and really helped me feel as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a really professional doc in this specialty that is highly skilled. Also, I am completely healed from my condition after surgery with her.
