Have been experiencing joint and muscle pain for over a decade (I’m only in my 20s). When I went for my appointment with Dr. Arakelova I expressed how much pain I was in and how I’ve had problems with doctors believing me in the past. She proceeded to downplay my symptoms and I could tell she did not believe me or take me seriously because she spent no more than 5 minutes with me then sent me away for X-rays. Made me feel stupid for coming to her with a problem and interrupted me all the time when I was trying to explain what was going on. Only examined me for a moment before assuming she knew everything about the pain I’ve been experiencing for decades. Didn’t make me feel safe in the examination room and seemed to be judging me. Didn’t ask me if her student could be in the room… just assumed that was ok? There are other issues I have with her too but won’t write all of it down here. My sweet grandparent’s have asked me to write this review based on their experience. Nina Arakelova is our family doctor. At our age, we struggle with many health issues. I don’t know where we’d be if it wasn’t for this God sent person who has been helping us through it all. Nina is an excellent professional with a good heart who cares deeply about her patients.
