I personally, had a horrible experience with the hand surgeon. Initial consult was very quick and brief. A week and a half later I had hand surgery with Dr Nikola Zivaljevic, and to say the least; he had absolutely no bedside manners at all. I woke up from surgery in excruciating pain, doctor walks in and I tell him I’m in horrible pain. I was visiting my daughter from India when unexpectedly I fell and broke my wrist. Dr. Z is truly god sent. The office got me in right away and were very polite, professional and empathetic. I felt from the beginning that I was in good hands. My wrist was completely off alignment after the break. Dr. Z made sure that I had the best alignment possible. I have the highest praise for Dr. Zivaljevic. He has done 3 surgeries for me and I could not be more pleased with his work. He is top-notch: very professional, extremely intelligent, and has an excellent bedside manner! As an added plus, his nurse, Kristen, is very helpful and goes out of her way to make sure everything goes smoothly. The front office staff are all efficient and friendly. I recommend Dr. Z. wholeheartedly!!

Dr Z (as I refer to him) has performed 2 hand surgeries on me. He is patient, kind, thorough, every good thing we want in a doctor, especially a surgeon. I had only been in TX a short while when I was referred to Dr Z. I’m grateful for that referral.
