I was knifed and left for dead when I was 30, am now 66. In 2010 I was admitted to the Salem hospital ER after not being able to have a bowel movement along with severe abdominal pain and cramps. They did a cat scan, MRI and doctor Vanderheyden explained that because they couldn't find the exact cause, they needed to perform surgery to see what needed to be done.
