Dr. Ahn was the only doctor to do anything useful about my degenerative disc disease. Other doctors would only prescribe steroid shots and physical therapy, which hadn't helped for years. Dr. Ahn recognized the severity of my issue and performed the spinal fusion, which gave me my life back. I went from being unable to walk upright back to my active lifestyle - pain free.
Dr Ahn is a great surgeon and truly cares about his patients. I never felt like a number. He is very attentive to your needs and concerns and spends the time to make sure you have a great understanding of the options available. I will not go anywhere else in the future. I had another care provider in a different health care system who retired so Dr Ahn was a blessing at the right time! UH has excellent care and staff
Dr Ahn did not call for my virtual visit was told he was to busy with real trauma cases and had to reschedule more than 3 weeks away when I am in so much pain. I would never see him or deal with his staff.
Dr. Ahn did a tremendous job of fixing 2 herniated disc's in my neck. My pain was gone immediately after waking up from surgery. I believe he is a fine surgeon and would recommend him to anybody needing a surgeon. Many people don't understand that doctors are now at the mercy of insurance company decisions and drug limitations imposed on them by the government and insurance rules and regulations. They can only practice medicine while greatly inhibited by all of these regulations. I again highly recommend Dr. Ahn.
