I did see this doctor a few years ago about an aching left thumb, due to arthritis, I came in and discussed my problem with him. He said he would need an MRI, which would be standard practice. He issued me with a referral and directed me to the end of the building to get the MRI, with instructions to return as soon as it was done. Dr Smith and his team have been amazing from my first call to make an appointment to post operation follow up and care. Dr Smith is not only efficient and professional but shows care and understanding to your individual needs and situation. He explains the procedures thoroughly, answering questions you have without being dismissive like other surgeons I have experienced. Outstanding Dr and team
Dr Smith is an excellent hand and wrist surgeon. He has second to none patient care, which is displayed by his entire team. I highly recommend Dr Smith and his team if you need hand or wrist surgery. The two hours I travelled to see Dr Smith to have a TFCC and DRUJ repair was well worth it.

I can't recommend Dr Smith enough! After dealing with numb hands daily, sleepless nights (due to waking with severe pain every hour or so) it was really starting to affect my mental health and it was preventing me playing the drums. I had previously tried cortisone shots in my wrists with no success and after having a nerve conduction study i was referred to Dr Smith at his suite at Norwest.
