Dr Sama has treated two of my family members and each experience was equally wonderful! He takes his time with you, explains in understandable terms, and shows genuine empathy (he specializes in trauma).

I came to Dr. Sama with a bimalleolar (double ankle) fracture. I had met with two surgeons before him, and he was the most thorough in his explanation of his plan of care and really took time with us. The facility he operates out of is immaculate and the staff professional and attentive. At my first post op appointment, I was in extreme pain and he adjusted my medication to make me comfortable and even went out of his way to push my wheelchair down to the parking lot and all the way to the car. I had an absolute horrible injury on Friday, July 28, 2023 I suffered a broken elbow, initially diagnosed by Palms west hospital and told to follow up with an orthopedic. After so many years, he doesn’t change—thank you Dr. Sama! Dr. Sama works to not just get you healed with his perfection in surgery, but he helps personalize your treatment to ensure a successful recuperation. My own injuries as well as my families have required both surgery and specific treatment. With each step of orthopedic care, Dr. Sama’s knowledge and bedside manner have been exceptional.

Dr. Sama operated on my 95 year old father and worked a miracle. My Dad had fallen and badly broken his hip requiring replacement and structural support. The results were nothing less than spectacular. Six months on, my Dad and I are back in the gym lifting weights (including leg lifts with 40 lbs) and riding the bikes. Often elderly people break their hips and die within a few months. Thanks to Dr. Sama, my father will live on with strength and mobility.

The doctor sat down and spent time logically explaining the treatments options. He didn’t rush and had a stepwise explanation that the patient could understand. We later saw his technique and it was gentle and a painless injection! In a world of medical specialists who are distant and rushed, this doc stands out as a gem. Cannot recommend him enough!
