I’ve recently had surgery with Dr Moncrieff and the whole experience was incredible. My initial consult was not with Dr Moncrieff but with a consulting nurse. I was advised that I needed to lose 10kg before they would consider surgery, even though I was experiencing significant pain and explained that losing weight was difficult due to my implants. I was also encouraged to start Wegovy, but I felt confident I could lose the weight naturally once the implants were removed, so medication didn’t feel appropriate for my situation.
