I'm sure Mr McKinnon is fine if you have garden variety, run of the mill depression or mental health issues. However, if you have complex, serious, or severe history or mental health issues, do yourself a favor and stay away from him as he will stay away from you anyway. He was ill equipped to help and quick "but hopeful" referring out, with a touch of dismissiveness as he did so.
