he listened to me and helped me through out everything
I've been seeing him for about 20 years. Had an appointment 5/8/19 but they didn't call to confirm like usual. Found they had closed without contacting anyone. Phone has a recording stating that the phone is no longer monitored. Called VA medical board and found he surrendered his license 3/8/19. They never bothered to contact anyone. My new Doc can't get them to send them my records.
He forgot my name and his office was so unorganized went to see him several times he needs some empathy.
Dr. Emiliani is the first psychiatrist i've met to actually take the time to listen, explain my condition and why he is prescribing medication. After my first session, he was able to describe my current mental health condition spot on. I also enjoyed the kindness and respect provided by his staff.
This guy is a joke. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. I waited 70 minutes to be told that he doesn't prescribe propranolol. His office his gross and he's incompetent.
I will never go back to this office. Dr Emiliani is very set in his ways and does not listen. In my opinion he should not be in practice or have a license. My daughter suffers from separation anxiety and social anxiety and has been diagnosed by a therapist. He basically laughed in my face about the diagnosis. He couldn't even remember my daughters name and she saw him several times. So unorganized. Oh and the counselor there that you have to see before seeing him what a joke.
He was very abrupt and did not listen. My treatment from him was very unprofessional in my opinion. Strongly set in his ways. Unwilling to listen to chief complaints and thoughts about your feelings.
Dr.Emiliani was not listening to me. He wanted to prescribe expensive medications and tests that my insurance would not pay. His office looks like a junk closet.
Dr. Emiliani cancelled my scheduled appointment three separate times. Once was due to inclement weather. The other two cancellations were not explained. The appointment was scheduled for 4 pm. I was not called back to see him until around 5:20 pm. During the visit he was dismissive, asked little about my background/symptoms, and seemed to have a predetermined agenda on what the diagnosis should be. I would not recommend seeing him and would not trust this office in caring for anyone.
