I can't say enough good things about Dr. Yamagata and his lovely staff. His office is spotless and efficient. I felt Dr. Yamagata really listened to me as we discussed my constant, intense migraine symptoms. After an exam I was given a treatment plan. Improvement was almost immediate and on going. I was very impressed with the effectiveness, understanding and kindness I experienced.
prescribed a drug without going over all the negative effects that gabapentin has. I became delusional and really scared after reading all the complaints about the drug after I started yelling at people, sitting dazed in front of my computer, wandering off to a park where I laid in the grass staring into space. Scared the crap out of me. Luckily I was able to get off the drug without and lasting effects that I know of. My peripheral neuropathy causes a lot of pain and numbness.
Highly recommended. Dr. Yamagata was very pleasant and prepared in meeting with me for the first time. He was the first Doctor to care about helping me with my health issues, more so than previous Doctors who had the same information given to them. I look forward now to a better quality of life. Thank you Dr. Yamagata.
Warning!!! The front desk of this office is extremely incapable of keeping even the simplest of calendars appaiintments. They will repeatedly forget to put your confirmed appointment in their system and only inform you that they can not work with you and to reschedule with another doctor. Save your time and schedule with someone else.
There is never a wait in Dr. Yamagata's office. Staff is wonderful. The receptionist is super friendly and always has a smile. Dr. Yamagata talks to me like a friend. He is easygoing and takes time to listen me. Very happy.
Dr. Yamagata takes the time to listen. He also was not quick to force unnecessary treatments on me. He informed me and let me make decisions. He gave me the alternative lifestyle changes I could make to help me with my neurological disorder. I chose to try those things first, and with very good success. I really respect his professionalism and knowledge. I highly recommend him.
