Neil himself is a nice man - but I wouldn’t even recommend my worst enemy to go here. The receptionists are both very rude and dismissive- clearly they don’t realise or care they’re dealing with people sometimes going through a debilitating, painful or scary time. Tiffany in particular was extremely rude. I had to call so often to follow up as they never followed Dr Shuey up, I got told for 3 weeks straight each day they’d left a note for Dr Shuey. So disappointed. I was so happy with Dr Shuey but recently I needed some urgent help with a prescription and completely got ignored. I emailed, no response for 10 days, so I called oh he is away on annual leave now. I asked if one of the other neuros could help while he is away? No I’d need to be seen as a new patient. Tiffany -Neil’s receptionist is so unhelpful and lacks any empathy and tells me just to take neurofen!?!? Little does she know about my debilitating condition! Don't go here. Dr Shuey was meant to send a report to my GP so I could continue on with my issues. He never did this. After months of calling trying to get my results, I was told every time that they would be sent. They never got sent. Even my doctor called and emailed. Same result. A year later still no report. Pretty pathetic.
After a consult with Neil in which he said to call after 2 weeks to see how i was going on trial meds, i called and emailed several times over many weeks and no reply. Also he was supposed to refer me to another place which he never did and the rude receptionist told me to get my gp to do so. That resulted in the wrong test being done and a wasted trip from northern vic to Melbourne. Disappointed that Neil didnt follow through with what he said he would. Waste of time and money.
