He's an old school dentist. He doesn't believe in excessive work; if it ain't broke don't fix it kind of mantra (as some dentists try to get you to do unnecessary work like replacing silver fillings that have nothing wrong with them just because they are silver). I'm glad I went to him for a second opinion.

This might seem like ancient history, but it's actually still very relevant. I went to this dentist regularly for a few years back in the 90's, when I was in my late 30's/early 40's. Prior to that, the only dentist I'd ever gone to was my family dentist from growing up, who would always remark on what a great set of teeth I had. If I ever had a cavity, it was rare. I was disappointed in this dental group and chose to go elsewhere. The first time I arrived for my 10 am appointment, no one was working. I waited for a good 20 minutes to see if someone would come in late. A receptionist happened to come in by chance and said no one wrote my appointment down and there was no one there to take me that day. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and rescheduled. I used to hate going to the dentist, ever since I started going to them and I don’t mind it now. I still don’t like it!! But I feel very comfortable when I go in for a check up the staff is very friendly and caring. Dr. Neil always makes sure I am very comfortable and know exactly what’s going on before he starts any work. Thanks for making going to the dentist a good experience!
