I have had 3 back surgeries that still left me with pain in my back. I have been seeing Dr. Patel now for some time for pain management. He has been endless in his search to get me some relief. Other doctors would have given up on me, but not Dr Patel. I also would like to stress how important it is to stay within a hospital network of doctors if you can. When you are on My Chart with Orlando Health, each of my doctors can read each others notes and that really helps with my total health goals.
I saw Dr. Patel one time and he suggested a particular procedure. We were waiting for an Insurance approval .The insurance was approved and I knew it because they sent me the approval letter to me as well. I called Dr. Patel’s office and explained to them that I had received the approval letter and they continue to tell me that it was not approved. Great doctor to work with. Very interested in his patient
Not happy with this practice, at all. They made me wait 2 months for my initial appointment as a first time patient, which I understand but then they canceled on the very same day due to the specialist having an emergency surgery. However, then to reschedule I had to wait another 2 months. Total of 4 to see the specialist. When I arrived I was told that basically he couldn't do anything for me because my results and to see a chiropractor instead. Put it simply Dr. Patel is the best. He helped me with my pain management for severe back pain. I would recommend him to anybody who is in pain.
