This place blew me away. I'm from Asheville, NC - and our ER is a disaster. Here, I was triaged immediately, IV catheter placed, and diagnostics and treatment initiated within an hour. They promptly gave me my options and admitted me. Everyone on staff was really kind and helpful. 10/10 recommend if you need emergency care in the San Diego area. I was staying in Ocean Beach when I needed care.

The staff were very caring, efficient, informative, and respectful. I was impressed and happy with the care I received in the Emergency Department.
I was truly surprised by how quickly and efficiently an emergency situation was handled at Sharp Emergency in San Diego. As a postpartum mom just three weeks after delivery, I suddenly spiked a fever of 103 and came to the ER. From the moment I arrived, I was checked in right away, and within minutes their testing procedures began.
