I love Dr Shiflett. I've been seeing psychs for over 20 years, and he is the most caring and compassionate psych I've ever seen. I can't imagine how anyone else could have such an opposite experience. He's a lifesaver for me. His staff, his nurse, and he are all very caring and friendly. His nurse returns phone calls right away. I've even gone from one practice to another when he changed, and everybody else I know who sees him, feels the same way.

Through my encounters with this office, it became evident that Dr. Shiflett is not a caring or thoughtful psychiatrist. I have never known a physician who was more rigid and even hateful, let alone a psychiatrist who should naturally possess compassion. I am relieved to have figured out that this doctor is absolutely the wrong doctor for me. In terms of my health care and well being, I would prefer to have caregivers who actually care. They always try to get me in as soon as possible Did this psychiatrist rush your appointment? No, I was able to ask as many questions as I wanted Did this psychiatrist have an entertaining selection of waiting room magazines? Yes
I would recommend him to people I know if I couldn't think of anyone better to suggest. I'm not always sure that he's going to work with me until they find a solution, and sometimes it seems like they're going to give up on trying to help me. I don't feel like I can always count on them. I have waited at times, but not too long in the waiting room. I've had to wait longer at other places.
