Although Dr. Natalie Rioux is an excellent doctor, scheduling appointments is a nightmare. I need a visual field test before my annual glaucoma visit. I get the test at my regular eye doctor as Dr. Rioux's office is over an hour away, and I am a lawyer in court 4-5 days a week. I had my test about 4 weeks before my scheduled visit. My visit was scheduled for December 10, and it was canceled at the last minute. Very unhelpful and rude receptionist. Kept insisting that I saw a different doctor when I am positive it was Dr. Rioux who did two surgeries on my eyes. That’s not something you forget.
Dr. Rioux is a wonderful doctor. Very competent, patient, caring, and answers all my questions. She took over my care after my previous ophthalmologist failed to properly treat my glaucoma. All of her staff are professional and friendly. I can’t thank her enough.
Dr. Rioux did cataract surgery on both of my eyes. I was happy with the results. However, I called for help twice when I had a problem with my eye, and was refused an appointment both times. It seems that while she is willing to do surgery she isn't willing to help when needed after the surgery.
