Saw Dr. Painter in the ER after a car accident. She came in and evaluated me within 5 minutes of my arrival, and immediately came up with a plan of action for my care in regards to diagnostic testing. She explained everything thoroughly and I left feeling confident everything had been addressed.
Useless. Refused all treatment in ER. I was in severe pain with what I thought was a fecal impaction. She refused to do any kind of treatment - laxatives, enemas, nothing. Some time after I returned home, having paged my family doctor, I finally went with a ton of pain. For the next 3 days I leaked liquid stool and now, 5 days later, I have a lot of pain when I’m going #2.
Dr. Painter was both professional and caring. She did appropriate tests and procedures and communicated with us and answered our many questions patiently. I would recommend her highly. She was our ER doctor.
