I saw Nancy about seven years ago. While I was seeing her, I checked myself into the hospital because I was suicidal. A week or two after I got out, Nancy informed me that she did not believe I was mentally ill any more, I was merely an alcoholic, and she would give me a few more sessions and discontinue treatment.
