Patient and wonderful listeners
HIPAA Records not updated months after submitting, blamed staff & Staff turnover. Elderly patient poorly managed, with little/no follow up. Medications not properly ordered just prior to vacation, could not get through to office to get a call back or confirmation of reorder. Cannot leave messages without multiple steps and rarely returned calls. Low confidence in office management and subsequent proper care of patient.
I have been a patient of Dr. Pahle's from the start of her practice. I find her attentive, insightful, able and willing to use both data and judgment in diagnoses and recommendations. She remembers well and brings history to bear well in her recommendations. She is also good -- as generalists must be -- at the art of appropriate referral to specialists, and has a good network of them. She is also a very empathetic person. I have never had difficulty getting a timely appointment.
Dr. Pahle is knowledgeable and competent, but the office is in need of cleaning/updating and the staff seems somewhat disorganized. Dr. Pahle runs lots of tests and posts the results to MyChart promptly, but she does not provide any context for results and seems to hurry through appointments with very little curiosity about me or my life. I keep telling myself that I'm going to change doctors, and I should probably do it before I get something worse than a cold or the flu.
I have been a patient for 9 years. Very pleased with her. Shows care and concern and answers any questions, but you have to be specific with the questions. Does not volunteer too much info but willing to discuss if asked. Gives good referrals. Nurse Karen is great. Telephone system automatic with choices and holds can be long for scheduling non-urgent appts.
They do not return phone calls, making it impossible to get an appointment for a routine check up or when you get sick. The office staff is not helpful and will not do anything but transfer you to the nurses answering machine. The two times I actually got an appointment they were kind and the office was clean.
I have ZERO confidence in Dr. Pahle at this point. All she does is blood test after blood iest, without even offering an opinion as to what might be wrong. She says ok go back to the lab and have your blood drawn, and we'll call you with the results. Then she just walks out without even offering an idea of what might be going on. I've never had a doctor spend as little time with me in the exam room as she does. I would never recommend her to anyone and will be looking for a new doctor.
