I went to Dr. Amberson from around the time I started puberty through part of college. Throughout my experience with Dr. Amberson, Dr. A spoke primarily with my mom, rather than me, the patient. My mom was allowed in the room during my appointments against my wishes, and my mom was the one who was told what I weighed. Unpleasant. Judgmental: Not a nice person. Had me on different ADHD meds my whole childhood, when it turns out it was a different disability. People make mistakes but I wasn’t the only one. This wasn’t a one time thing. Nurses are great though, all nice and seem to enjoy their job.
