I have been Dr. Nandakumar's patient for many years. I am very nearsighted. Although I knew I had risk of retinal tear/detachment, I never seriously thought it would happen. Then one day, I had classic retinal detachment symptoms. Dr. Nandakumar saw me that day and lasered my retinal tear back.
