I was so nervous, I had never been to a liver doctor before. Dr Alkhouri definitely is very knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and explained everything clearly so I could understand what was wrong with my liver. He showed compassion to me knowing I was having trouble with my health. I now have a clear plan to try and get better .
I do plenty of research when selecting my health providers because I only want quality care. When I say, Dr. Alkhouri is one of the best doctors I've ever had I mean it. The quality care and attentiveness he has with his patients is prestige. He explains everything in a way that makes sense and helps you make the necessary changes in order to reach the goal. In months, my liver health had improved drastically. Thank you, Dr. Alkhouri for setting me on the correct path.
I was among the first to be cured of hepatitis C by Dr. Lawitz's innovative protocol. I can say in all sincerity that he literally saved my life. His clinic is an efficient, professionally run operation. I rarely have to wait more than five minutes for my appointment, unlike most doctor's offices, and his entire staff is friendly and welcoming. I can't recommend Dr. Lawitz and the Texas Liver Institute highly enough.

My first visit and I’m happy with my choice! Dr. Alkhouri and Julia were very friendly and informative, along with the rest of the staff. They even got me in a few days early! I felt safe and supported here.
Dr. Lawitz is very personable and took his time with me explaining my scan results and plan of action for treatment. He took his time and answered our questions and made us feel more at ease. I highly recommend him and his office staff. The whole experience was time well spent and I left feeling reassured that I am in good care.
When I arrived for my liver biopsy, I was quite afraid and unsure if I wanted to go through with the procedure. When it came time to sign the authorization forms, I became very stressed out and asked to speak with Dr. Lawitz. The Doctor came down and sat with me for awhile.
