Dr. Alam treated me as a post stem cell transplant patient. She was the only doctor in a clinic full of monsters and idiots to treat me like a human being. She was also the only doctor willing to work with me on my case and listen to my medical history before prescribing extremely dangerous drugs. She not only saved my life, but my sanity. I was very, very happy for her when she left that terrible clinic! But when she did, I did too. She was literally the only doctor there that I trusted.
Giving a one star is actually being generous. I am absolutely DISGUSTED by this doctor. Telling my mother who is clearly sick and has messed up bloodwork to "get her hormones checked and get on with her life." Well guess what...she ended up being diagnosed with TERMINAL CANCER and a very serious blood clotting disorder. Thank god we went to get a second opinion at Roswell Park. They took her situation seriously, took action immediately and were very professional. Had she "just got her hormones checked" she wouldn't be alive.
