This was my first visit with doctor T. I found her friendly and knowledgeable, willing to take the time to listen, and to ask questions and offer suggestions and advice. I look forward to working with my new endocrinologist.
Was with her for 2 yrs post thyroidectomy. Shes very knowledgeable just doesn't give patient feedback very well. Always seems to be in a rush. I was taking notes when she was giving me my test results and because I wasn't looking directly at her she asked if I needed to reschedule to pay attention. I dealt with her for longer than I should have because of my condition but finally had to drop her. Her staff is good but she is a pill I was no longer willing to swallow.
My husband had been treated for approximately 3 years during covid by Dr. Tirumalasetty. When covid hit, we had to do virtual visits. Our son and his wife and 4 young children had to move in our home with us. The only quiet room was our bedroom with the door shut. She was so rude to him during his appointment, due to being in the bedroom. She told him to "sit up straight", and it was unprofessional for him to be in the bedroom but wouldn't give him a chance to explain our situation. I don't enjoy posting negative reviews but this one is a must, I reached out today to help my son find a new Endocrinologist, he is type 1...believe it or not this office told me this Dr (endocrinologist) only accepts type 2... wow... Type 1 stay away
Dr. T is very thorough! I am treated for thyroid and T1 diabetes at her office, and I always feel I have my questions answered, as well as guidance for my treatment.
