I was recommended to see Dr. Kohler after my initial psychiatrist who diagnosed me Bipolar retired. I was Dr. Kohler's patient for ~5 years till I finally tapered off meds before becoming an adult. After a decade without the meds I found out I NEVER was Bipolar! I only had a manic episode after the original psychiatrist (not Dr. Kohler) gave me meds for ADHD that caused it.
