An absolute gentleman. I dread the day he retires.He never rushes you, explains everything, is knowledgeable, and above all he treats you like you are are the only patient the has. I highly recommend him. Please never retire
Patient, understanding and informative.
Dr. Zarif twice cancelled my important Lyme Disease test at the last minute with no explanation, other than "he won't be in the office that day" and then tries to reschedule it for 4 weeks later. I have been anxiously looking forward to this test as its believed it will lead to a particular treatment and medication that will provide me some relief. Dr Zarif was so helpful and helped me understand my condition much better than any doctor I have seen. He was patient and answered all my questions. I would recommend him to anyone as I feel he is very gifted and trustworthy. He encourages you to take part in your own health care decisions and treatments. My husband was impressed as well. We are fortunate to have a great doctor and not have to travel to NYC.
My experience was very positive! Dr. Zarif is a compassionate, patient and brilliant gentleman. I would send anyone in my family to him if they needed a Neurologist; that’s how much I trust and respect him.
I found him to be very rude I would not do any procedures or see him as a dr.
I went to Dr. Zarif having a huge amount of anxiety over a finding on my mri. Dr. Zarif has been beyond wonderful to me and has reassured me as much as i need. He takes his time and listens to concerns and then responds to each and every question. He is knowledgeable, kind, caring and even funny. It is quite obvious he is brilliant In his specialty. I highly recommend him especially to people with anxiety like me.

I was Diagnosed with MS 13 years ago and Dr. Zarif is my 6th Neurologist. He is by far THE BEST I have had thus far! He is ridiculously knowledgeable, patient, warm and caring. He NEVER rushes me out of the office and genuinely listens until all of my concerns and complaints are addressed. I literally call him MY HERO. He has improved my quality of life in ways that other doctors never bothered to do. He is exceptional and I trust him 110% with medical decision and my life!!!
