After being diagnosed mass on my right kidney, my urologist referred me to Dr. Ahmed telling me that he would trust him to perform surgery on him or any member of his family. My bladder and prostate were removed by Dr. Ahmed following the diagnosis of a remarkably silent invasive bladder cancer. He carefully explained the pros and cons of the three types of robotic surgery that are used to rebuild the urinary system after the bladder is taken out. This is the last of my bi-annual checkups after my robotic prostatectomy two years ago. Dr. Ahmed has an easy way of explaining things regarding incontinence and possible erection issues, both prior to my surgery and afterwards. I am totally comfortable with my lifestyle now , with the above issues mostly solved and in the past.
Dr. Ahmed is very clear about your treatment and outcomes. He treated me for prostate cancer about a year ago and everything he explained to me was spot on. He has a great personality and I would recommend him to anyone. In fact the reason I went to him was because of a recommendation from my friend who had the same issue. I’m doing great now and his follow up is very thorough. Top notch!!!
Dr. Ahmed is an excellent doctor and skilled surgeon. Had Robotic nerve sparing prostatectomy in march 2019, with great results. Dr. Ahmed and his surgical team are second to none! With regards to a nerve sparing robotic prostatectomy, I wanted a surgeon that performed at the least hundreds if not thousands and that is why I decided on Dr. Ahmed.
