My BIL and I consider ourselves blessed to have had Dr Amir as our neurologist. He takes the time to listen, make a preliminary assessment and explain what would be the best course of treatment and why. He is a very compassionate doctor. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone who is in need of a neurologist. We were lucky enough to see him at his office. He has since moved on to telehealth and moved from our area. He is missed. The office personnel are all very helpful and professional.

He reviewed my possible stroke and advised me on the risks and benefits of tPA (clot buster). I decided not to use it but then called him back in to discuss further. Being a mild stroke, it really was up to me; that I could go either way. To reassure me, he said that he'd let me know if he thought it was necessary; he'd make it clear that I should use tPA. Again, I decided not to get it. My hand/arm is 85% currently and hoping for more recovery. - Marc

My husband had a stoke last year - a brain bleed. But he and I had no idea it was a stroke. We did not know there was such a long list of symptoms for stroke. We called Dr. Amir and after diagnosing him with stroke he admitted Joe. I believe Joe would have been a casualty if not for Dr. AMir's expertise. Joe spent 5 months in the hospital an... read more

He is efficient, caring, and truly cares about his patients. If he does not know the answer, he has no reservations about sending you to another Doctor who he feels can help. He puts his patients health and welfare above all.

I absolutely recommend Dr. Amir!!! I have had the most wonderful experience. I was paralyzed on my right side when I met Dr. Amir and I went into surgery with the help of Dr. Ashker. I went to Dr. Admit office for a follow up visit. He personally remembered me and my case. He was very compassionate and understanding. I would definitely recommended him!!!
