Dr Rais is a phenomenal physician. He is only one of a few in our area that treats pediatrics. He has taken my son from an uncontrolled case of moderate/severe asthma to having lungs that can perform like he doesn’t have asthma. My son has seen him since he was about 5. He’s 19 now. I disagree with the folks that say he doesn’t explain things or that he has a poor bedside manner. He’s patient and very kind and provides clear instructions. Even providing demonstrations. I had been going to Dr. Rais for 7 years for allergy shots. Today I arrived about ten minutes late for my allergy appointment (having been told years earlier that you have to reschedule if you’re more than thirty minutes late for the shots.) Okay, every allergist I've ever been to give you a standing appointment a certain day of the week to come in and get your shots well. I came in and got my first shot last week and I was told you're good. You're ready to go. So I assumed that I would be coming in the next Wednesday at 8:15. But that's not the case. I showed up a week later and was told. I didn't have an appointment. I needed to make an appointment. And the receptionist was very rude. Who also said that she's the office manager.
